Sister Lucy of Fatima and the Vision of Hell

Sister Lucy of Fatima and the Vision of Hell

At Fatima, the Blessed Virgin Mary told the three child seers that many souls go to hell because they have no one to pray or make sacrifices for them. In her Memoirs, Sister Lucy describes the vision of hell that Our Lady showed the children at Fatima:

"She opened Her hands once more, as She had done the two previous months. The rays [of light] appeared to penetrate the earth, and we saw, as it were, a vast sea of fire. Plunged in this fire, we saw the demons and the souls [of the damned]. The latter were like transparent burning embers, all blackened or burnished bronze, having human forms. They were floating about in that conflagration, now raised into the air by the flames which issued from within themselves, together with great clouds of smoke. Now they fell back on every side like sparks in huge fires, without weight or equilibrium, amid shrieks and groans of pain and despair, which horrified us and made us tremble with fright (it must have been this sight which caused me to cry out, as people say they heard me). The demons were distinguished [from the souls of the damned] by their terrifying and repellent likeness to frightful and unknown animals, black and transparent like burning coals. That vision only lasted for a moment, thanks to our good Heavenly Mother, Who at the first apparition had promised to take us to Heaven. Without that, I think that we would have died of terror and fear."

OUR LADY OF FATIMA SAID: SACRIFICE YOURSELVES FOR SINNERS AND SAY MANY TIMES, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU MAKE SOME SACRIFICE:

O JESUS, it is for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Prayer to Save America

Prayer to Save America

O merciful God, we cry to Thee for pardon and for mercy.  We are an unbelieving and perverse generation. We are disobedient, disloyal and ungrateful to Thee.   We have excluded Thee from our homes, our schools, our places of business.  We are no longer worthy to be called Thy children.  Merciful Father, spare America!   Forgive us!

Save us from the scourge we deserve.   Teach us Thy law, and move our wills to serve Thee today and everyday.  Merciful God, please spare America!  O Immaculate Heart of Mary, Pray for us!

Prayer for the Conversion of Sinners

Prayer for the Conversion of Sinners

O LORD JESUS, most merciful SAVIOUR of the world, we beg and beseech Thee, through thy most Sacred Heart, that all wandering sheep may now return to Thee, the Shepherd and Bishop of their souls.  Who livest and reignest with GOD the FATHER and the HOLY SPIRIT, GOD for ever and ever. Amen.

Novena for the Holy Souls in Purgatory

Novena for the Holy Souls in Purgatory

Written by St. Alphonsus Liguori this novena has prayers for each day which are followed by the Prayer to Our Suffering Savior for the Holy Souls in Purgatory

Day 1
Jesus, my Savior I have so often deserved to be cast into hell how great would be my suffering if I were now cast away and obliged to think that I myself had caused my damnation. I thank You for the patience with which You have endured me. My God, I love You above all things and I am heartily sorry for having offended You because You are infinite goodness. I will rather die than offend You again. Grant me the grace of perseverance. Have pity on me and at the same time on those blessed souls suffering in Purgatory. Mary, Mother of God, come to their assistance with your powerful intercession.

Say one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and the Prayer to Our Suffering Savior for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

Day 2
Woe to me, unhappy being, so many years have I already spent on earth and have earned naught but hell! I give You thanks, O Lord, for granting me time even now to atone for my sins. My good God, I am heartily sorry for having offended You. Send me Your assistance, that I may apply the time yet remaining to me for Your love and service; have compassion on me, and, at the same time, on the holy souls suffering in Purgatory. O Mary, Mother of God, come to their assistance with your powerful intercession.

Say one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and the Prayer to Our Suffering Savior for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

Day 3
My God! Because You are infinite goodness, I love You above all things, and repent with my whole heart of my offenses against You. Grant me the grace of holy perseverance. Have compassion on me, and, at the same, on the holy souls suffering in Purgatory. And you, Mary, Mother of God, come to their assistance with your powerful intercession.

Say one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and the Prayer to Our Suffering Savior for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

Day 4
My God! Because You are infinite goodness, I am sorry with my whole heart for having offended You. I promise to die rather than ever offend You more. Give me holy perseverance; have pity on me, and have pity on those holy souls that burn in the cleansing fire and love You with all their hearts. O Mary, Mother of God, assist them by your powerful prayers.

Say one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and the Prayer to Our Suffering Savior for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

Day 5
Woe to me, unhappy being, if You, O Lord, had cast me into hell; for from that dungeon of eternal pain there is no deliverance. I love You above all things, O infinite God and I am sincerely sorry for having offended You again. Grant me the grace of holy perseverance. Have compassion on me, and, at the same time, on the holy souls suffering in Purgatory. O Mary, Mother of God, come to their assistance with your powerful intercession.

Say one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and the Prayer to Our Suffering Savior for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

Day 6
My Divine Redeemer, You did die for me on the Cross, and have so often united Yourself with me in Holy Communion, and I have repaid You only with ingratitude. Now, however, I love You above all things, O supreme God; and I am more grieved at my offences against You than at any other evil. I will rather die than offend You again. Grant me the grace of holy perseverance. Have compassion on me, and, at the same time, on the holy souls suffering in Purgatory. Mary, Mother of God, come to their aid with your powerful intercession.

Say one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and the Prayer to Our Suffering Savior for the Holy Souls in Purgatory .

Day 7
God, Father of Mercy, satisfy this their ardent desire! Send them Your holy Angel to announce to them that You, their Father, are now reconciled with them through the suffering and death of Jesus, and that the moment of their deliverance has arrived.

Say one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and the Prayer to Our Suffering Savior for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

Day 8
Oh my God! I also am one of these ungrateful beings, having received so much grace, and yet despised Your love and deserved to be cast by You into hell. But Your infinite goodness has spared me until now. Therefore, I now love You above all things, and I am heartily sorry for having offended You. I will rather die than ever offend You. Grant me the grace of holy perseverance. Have compassion on me and, at the same time, on the holy souls suffering in Purgatory. Mary, Mother of God, come to their aid with your powerful intercession.

Say one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and the Prayer to Our Suffering Savior for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

Day 9
My God! How was it possible that I, for so many years, have borne tranquilly the separation from You and Your holy grace! O infinite Goodness, how long-suffering have You shown Yourself to me! Henceforth, I shall love You above all things. I am deeply sorry for having offended You; I promise rather to die than to again offend You. Grant me the grace of holy perseverance, and do not permit that I should ever again fall into sin. Have compassion on the holy souls in Purgatory. I pray You, moderate their sufferings; shorten the time of their misery; call them soon unto You in heaven, that they may behold You face to face, and forever love You. Mary, Mother of Mercy, come to their aid with your powerful intercession, and pray for us also who are still in danger of eternal damnation.

Say one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and the Prayer to Our Suffering Savior for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

Prayer to Our Suffering Savior for the Holy Souls in Purgatory

O most sweet Jesus, through the bloody sweat which You did suffer in the Garden of Gethsemane, have mercy on these Blessed Souls. Have mercy on them. R. Have mercy on them, O Lord.

O most sweet Jesus, through the pains which You did suffer during Your most cruel scourging, have mercy on them.  R. Have mercy on them, O Lord.

O most sweet Jesus, through the pains which You did suffer in Your most painful crowning with thorns, have mercy on them. R. Have mercy on them, O Lord.

O most sweet Jesus, through the pains which You did suffer in carrying Your cross to Calvary, have mercy on them.  R. Have mercy on them, O Lord.

O most sweet Jesus, through the pains which You did suffer during Your most cruel Crucifixion, have mercy on them.  R. Have mercy on them, O Lord.

O most sweet Jesus, through the pains which You did suffer in Your most bitter agony on the Cross, have mercy on them.  R. Have mercy on them, O Lord.

O most sweet Jesus, through the immense pain which You did suffer in breathing forth Your Blessed Soul, have mercy on them.  R. Have mercy on them, O Lord.

(Recommend yourself to the Souls in Purgatory and mention your intentions here)

Blessed Souls, I have prayed for you; I entreat you, who are so dear to God, and wh are secure of never losing Him, to pray for me a miserable sinner, who is in danger of being damned, and of losing God forever. Amen.

The Chaplet of Conversion

The Chaplet of Conversion
(Using Regular Rosary Beads)

On the crucifix, recite the "Apostles Creed" for the unbelievers of the world.

On the first bead pray, the "Our Father" for the grace of conversion of the world.

On the second bead pray a "Hail Mary" to honour the Father for the exaltation of Mary, a mere creature, and for choosing to honour her with the title, "Queen of heaven and Mediatrix of all graces."

On the third bead pray the "Hail, Holy Queen"

On the medal, say the following prayer:
O Holy Mother, I join you at the foot of your Son's Cross to implore mercy and conversion for the souls of the world.  With you, I offer the Wounds of your Son, Jesus, to the Father, in atonement for the sins of the world past, present and to come."

On each of the small beads, say:
Through the Sorrowful, Bleeding, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and in union with the suffering of her Son, Jesus, on the Cross, I implore of the Father, the grace of the conversion for the world."

On each of the large beads, say: a "Hail Mary" in honour of Mary's Tears of Sorrow.

After the "Hail Mary" on each large bead, say:
Holy Mother Mary, Mediatrix of all graces, obtain for us from God, the conversion of the world.

Then say 3 "Glory Bes" in honour of the Blessed Trinity.
Conclude the Chaplet, say the prayer "Hail, Holy Queen".

The Chaplet of Saint Gertrude the Great

The Chaplet of Saint Gertrude the Great
(said on ordinary Rosary beads)

Our Lord told St. Gertrude the Great that the following prayer would release 1,000 souls from Purgatory each time it is said. The prayer was extended to include living sinners as well. Begin with the Apostles' Creed, one Our Father, three Hail Mary's and a Glory Be to the Father.

On each large beads: The Our Father

On each small beads:
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, those in my own home, and within my family. Amen.

At the end of each decade:
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, open the hearts and minds of sinners to the truth and light of God, the Father. Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for the conversion of sinners and the world.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Prayer for the Church

Prayer for the Church

Give peace, O LORD, in our days; for there is none other that fighteth for us, but only Thou, our GOD.

V/ Let there be peace in thy strength, O LORD.
R/ And plenty in thy strong places.

Let us pray
O GOD, from whom proceed all holy desires, all right counsels and just works; grant unto us thy servants that peace which the world cannot give, that our hearts may be devoted to thy service, and that, being delivered from the fear of our enemies, we may pass our time in peace under thy
protection. Through CHRIST our LORD. Amen.

Prayer of St Francis Xavier for the Conversion of Infidels

Prayer of St Francis Xavier for the Conversion of Infidels

ETERNAL GOD, the Maker of all things, remember that the souls of unbelievers have been created by Thee, and that they have been made after thy own image and likeness. Behold, O LORD, to thy dishonour, with these very souls hell is filled.

Remember, O GOD, that for their salvation thy SON JESUS CHRIST underwent a most cruel death. O LORD, suffer not that thy SON be despised by unbelievers; but, appeased by the prayers of holy men and of the Church, the Spouse of thy most holy SON, remember thy own pity, and, forgetting their idolatry and their unbelief, bring to pass that they may at length acknowledge thy SON JESUS CHRIST, who is our salvation, life, and resurrection, through whom we are saved and set free; to whom be glory from age to age without
end. Amen.

A Prayer For Priests

A Prayer For Priests

Keep them, I pray Thee, dearest Lord,
Keep them, for they are Thine -
Thy priests whose lives burn out before
     Thy consecrated shrine.
Keep them, for they are in the world,
     Though from the world apart;
When earthly pleasures tempt, allure, -
     Shelter them in Thy heart.
Keep them, and comfort them in hours
     Of loneliness and pain,
When all their life of sacrifice
For souls seems but in vain.
Keep them, and O remember, Lord,
They have no one but Thee,
Yet they have only human hearts,
     With human frailty.
Keep them as spotless as the Host.
     That daily they caress;
Their every thought and word and deed,
     Deign, dearest Lord, to bless.

Imprimatur:  +D. Card. Dougherty, Arch. of Philadelphia
Our Father Hail Mary Mary, Queen of the Clergy, pray for them.

Prayer to our Lady of Guadalupe, Protectress of the Unborn

Prayer to our Lady of Guadalupe, Protectress of the Unborn

Our Lady of Guadalupe, we turn to you who are the protectress of unborn children and ask that you intercede for us, so that we may more firmly resolve to join you in protecting all human life. Let our prayers be united to your perpetual motherly intercession on behalf of those whose lives are threatened, be they in the womb of their mother, on the bed of infirmity, or in the latter years of their life. May our prayers also be coupled with peaceful action, which witnesses to the goodness and dignity of all human life, so that our firmness of purpose may give courage to those who are fearful and bring light to those who are blinded by sin. Encourage those who will be involved in the March for Life; help them to walk closely with God and to give voice to the cry of the oppressed, in order to remind our nation of its commitment to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all people. O Virgin Mother of God, present our petitions to your Son and ask Him to bless us with abundant life. Amen.

Novena to Obtain Graces Through the Intercession of St. Faustina

Novena to Obtain Graces Through the Intercession of St. Faustina

O Jesus, Who filled Your servant, St. Faustina, with profound veneration for Your boundless Mercy, deign, if it be Your holy will, to grant me, through her intercession, the grace for which I fervently pray.

My sins render me unworthy of Your Mercy, but be mindful of St. Faustina's spirit of sacrifice and self-denial, and reward her virtue by granting the petition which, with childlike confidence, I present to You through her intercession. Amen.

Prayer to Saint Faustina

Prayer to Saint Faustina

Dear St. Faustina, I have come to know you as a friend. I ask you to plead to the Lord for me the prayer I ask of you. In times of doubt, dear friend, implore the Lord's Mercy as you did so often here on earth, that I may remember who I am, and to what His mercy has called me.

In times of fear, implore His Mercy that I may ever remember to trust, and trust again, in joy, and in the knowledge that God is preparing me for a beautiful mission.

Please pray dear St. Faustina, that I may never forget that the abyss between my Lord and I has been bridged by His tender mercy. He will continue to be faithful and heal me of anything which stands in the way of His Will. My life is in His Hands.

Thank you dear friend. Pray with me the prayer Our Lord taught you to spread throughout the world; Jesus, I trust in You! Remind all pilgrims of life that if our trust is great, there is no limit to Jesus' generosity. Amen
